In 2024, I had the honor of participating in the OL88YL amateur radio event held in the Czech Republic, representing Türkiye with my callsign TA7YLY (YL Merzuke). My participation was proudly sponsored by the YASME Foundation and HB9FPM (YL Eva).
This unforgettable experience and the spirit of international YL (female amateur radio operator) solidarity inspired me to organize a similar event together with fellow YLs in Türkiye.
This idea led to the creation of the TC2E Contest Station, which we established last year. Now, we are thrilled to announce that the TA-YL Event will take place at this station on August 16–17, 2025.
We will be on the air with our special event callsign TC88YL. Looking forward to hearing you!
