QRT as of 15 April 2024
In April 2024, I will be visiting 8Q for a ten-day vacation. I will be on the air as 8Q7HZ, using Yaesu FT-991, running barefoot 75 w to a EFHW + Windom 40-10m wire.
After arriving at the hotel, I setup the antenna, the windom did not work well so together with 8Q7AM Ali we setup the EFHW, and then 30m inv-V dipole. Beware, I have Murphy around!!!
First the laptop stopped RX on FT8, then the antenna went DEAF. When I trx, I can see that my signal is heard on reverse beacon but I do not get anything on the screen. Trying to solve the problem!!

QSL INFO:
Do not send YOUR QSL card(s) via the Bureau, probably it will never arrive and you won’t receive a card from me!
a) Log will be uploaded to EQSL - CLUBLOG - QRZ during the activity.
b) Later, LoTW will be uploaded free of charge after the activity.
c) Hardcopy QSL requests
First CHECK Clublog log, then either :
cc) DIRECT mail to my (1B/TA1HZ) TRNC address together with (SAE+5 GS)
ccc) by PAYPAL 4 USD to ulug.kazancioglu@getir.com & email me tadxpeditions@gmail.com with details of the QSO .
PLEASE DO NOT SEND QSL via INTERNET / E-MAIL, especially to the Paypal e-mail. / I hate it and throw them into spam!!!
